Add a splash of class to your event!
4 weeks before the wedding
Your toastmaster will set up a face to face meeting to discuss your wedding day,
ideally at the reception venue. At the meeting, she will go through the
whole days timing to ensure that she understands all your requirements.
If you want, she will be there to provide help and guidance,
but ultimately the extent of her involvement is to your decision!
The weeks leading up to the wedding
During this time, you can have as many emails or phone contacts with your
toastmaster as you want. Always keep your toastmaster up to date with any
changes so she can provide you with the best service possible!
On the wedding day
Your toastmaster will arrive at the venue one hour ahead of time so she
can check your venue is correctly set up e.g. seating plans, place cards,
gift table etc. She can also help organize other suppliers who are setting
up so they are finished before the wedding guests arrive and liaise with
the venue staff about your timings. Once the wedding has started, your
toastmaster will assist the photographer with organizing group shots.
During the wedding reception, the toastmaster has her most important duties.
She can and will escort the bride and groom into the reception room, introduce speakers, organize the cutting of the cake and formally close the proceedings.
Additionally, if required your toastmaster can help organize your bouquet throw,
meet and greet your guests and organize everyone to watch your first dance.
This is where a toastmaster differs from a venue MC. They generally will
make announcements and corral guests, but they aren’t personalized
to you and your timing and desires.
A skilled toastmaster will ensure that everything runs smoothly on your wedding day.
Does that also mean he or she guarantees that you and your partner will then live happily ever? Unfortunately not, but a professional toastmaster will make sure that your wedding day goes without a hitch…
A toastmaster is a fabulous way of adding an extra sense of occasion and memorability to your day. While maintaining an unobtrusive presence throughout, good toastmasters give the wedding party and their guests the feeling that they are being looked after and that the event is all under control.

YOUR EXPERIENCE IS my biggest concern
I ask the couple beforehand for a description of their day in three words
– no two sets of words are the same.
How would you describe your day – and will it be delivered as you want it?
A toastmaster might be the answer to your wedding worries.
